On the Friday before the Labour Day long weekend a concerned, retired neighbour asked for help to organise a plumber to rectify an issue with his hot water service, after things had not gone to plan with a different plumber the previous day. After seeing the favourable reviews for SGT Plumbing, we gave them a call at 1pm.Kate clearly explained what we needed to do to obtain a quote (including providing photos). Little more than 30 minutes later, Chris called and clearly explained the proposed solution and (very reasonable) price. The process to formally accept the written quote was straightforward. Luke performed the work at 6.30-7.00pm so that my neighbour didn’t have to wait until the following Tuesday for his hot water service to work properly. Outstanding! As with Kate and Chris, Luke was friendly and helpful and his explanations were very clear. The end result of this terrific team effort was that I had a very happy (and relieved) neighbour. SGT Plumbing will be the first business I call when I need plumbing work done.

A massive thanks to Luke and Max who spent 2 days connecting our water and installing a water heater on to mains in our shed! They went above and beyond, especially with our portable ensuite bathroom having lose fittings that they replaced or resealed. And now, we have a bathroom, kitchen and washong mashine all ready for use. Couldn't be more happy! Thanks legends!

It is no understatement to say that SGT saved me! An unexplained leak discovered hours before a long weekend, boys were out in no time at all, squeezing me in before I went away. They found and resolved the issue - and even came back to double check!I honestly felt such gratitude knowing I could have quite likely come home to a flooded house if I had have waited.Sarge and his team were so swift, so nice and so great. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.If you’re unsure about finding a reliable plumber do yourself a favour and call SGT.

Own personal experiences:POS- on time- friendly crew- taking shoes off inside unasked- good for toilet installation or repair- good for electric toilet pump installation if level for passive flow is inadequate- good for new gas water heating installation- coming back when problemNEG:- very expensive,which would be ok if all work was ace- person/boss quoting not on site for quote or doing any of work or supervising (making it more expensive?)- sent any one worker to lay drain pipe, him admitting another colleague would have been better, more experienced and more logic to do correctly or at least communicate his inability to lay needed floor level and how to solve (but was not sent, he just did it higher somehow. Just seen in time stopped filling dirt, not clean pebbles as needed, onto too high laid pipe.Left with botched dysfunctional too high but expensive 5m drain pipe and a plastic pit that sits on top of original drain pipe.Boss defended (!) illogical work instead of fixing, making it new. Left very bad taste.Now zoned in red zone after a house slid off.Need a builder and pay everything again...This was wasted money (6000+), no responsibility.Hope with zoning not every plumber is allowed to carry out drain work without certificate in a red or yellow zone.People are upset about zoning, but this expensive work re drainage might stop for the better.- water main off multiple times to fix avoidable leaks from done screw caps, which causes known bubbles.Would have been ok, came quickly.but I customer preferred to be warned not to turn whitegoods on straight away(second time main off/on bubbles burst dishwasher,Boss came again, blamed SEW, he plumber, seen it all and "no safety valve in front of dishwasher" as if I plebs should know that. )You need to precaution to not turn any water using machine on until all taps and toilets fill without bubbles despite having tried to remove them.- had multiple paid camera into-pipes viewing.One pipe was clogged after 10cm with pebbles and actually cut after 50cm by a former landscaper (how dare they), but told by the same drain laying worker that the pipe was old, went up and out and full of roots triggering me to pay for pipe digging, replacement, .... finding out....there was no pipe.....This bill was amended to some degree.Just would wish for more bland honesty and communication like cannot advance camera or need help with drain pipe if it becomes tricky.Hope that's done now.

Had a problem with a gas leak and my gas supply had been turned off. Max arrived promptly at 7 am and located the problem pretty quickly. He suggested a couple of solutions which I appreciated and I took his advice on board. Max was friendly and polite and explained things very clearly. I liked the easy procedure for paying the invoice too. Thnx SGT Plumbing. Love that you’re a local business!
